Dato' Vijay Eswaran (born. Oct 7, 1960) is the Group MD and CEO of the QI Group of companies, headquartered in Hong Kong.

In September 1998, Dato’ Vijay, a Malaysian citizen of Indian Origin, co-founded a direct sales company in the Philippines that operated on the relatively new platform of e-commerce. In a few years, the company diversified into what is today the umbrella company, QI Ltd. With businesses that include among other things, holidays, resorts, luxury products, wellness, telecommunication services, TV stations in Europe and partnerships with international organisations such as FIFA, International Olympic Committee, United Nations- FAO program and many more. The QI Group has an estimated three million customers in over 160 countries worldwide and a presence in nearly 30 countries through its various offices and subsidiaries. QI Ltd also has significant investments in public listed companies in India and Sri Lanka.

In late 2006, he received the honorary title of Knight Commander of The Most of The Crown of Pahang, Honorary Distinguished Order [[Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang]] by His Royal Highness The Sultan of Pahang, Malaysia in recognition of his contribution to the economic growth of the State of Pahang. This investiture carries the title Dato’, which is a rough equivalent of the Knighthood in UK.

He has also established the RYTHM Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of the QI group. In Malaysia, Vijay Eswaran has established the Vijayaratnam Foundation in his father’s honour that helps provide scholarships to needy but deserving students.

Eswaran has spoken at leading universities, management and business leadership forums, including the Commonwealth Business Forum of the CHOGM 2007 in Uganda, where Vijay Eswaran was also invited to participate in the Heads of Govt Round Table meeting. Eswaran has also been a panelist at the 6th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.

He has recently penned his first book titled In the Sphere of Silence [1] that encapsulates the core of his philosophy. The book has also been translated into German, Dutch, Indonesian, Chinese and Farsi. Vijay Eswaran's book has been covered by USA Today[1] and Forbes [2] Eswaran has also pioneered a interactive programme called the Thought of the Day or TOD Program.

Eswaran travels extensively around the world with his wife and lives in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Sydney and London.
