Having more (explicit) structure within Wikipedia is certainly an important goal. However, I think that there might be some prior work that you are not aware of. Especially, your templates look a lot like the "Personendaten" that are already in use in German Wikipedia. Also both Wikidata and Semantic MediaWiki are beyond the stage of being mere proposals and there will be actuall implementations soon. I think Wikidata is to cone with the next release of the software (check out the implementation pages on meta) -- unfortunatelly, this progress is poorly documented on the official page, but Erik gave a presentation at Wikimania. Likewise, Semanic MedaWiki is working on prototypes and will be available rather soon.
So it would be great if you could introduce your ideas and comments into these projects (like you already did ;-), where they can soon be put into practice. I fear that setting up another new project from scratch is not feasible without explaining its relationship to the upcoming extensions. As for your concerns towards introducing "untested" extensions: I think that the community can cope quite well with this, since no major extension has been previewed so far ;-) --Markus Krötzsch 19:34, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
