The Dustinian Metric System is a decimal-based system of measure created by Darth Skynyrd in late 2006 and early 2007. It is based completely off of natural occurances (i.e. the speed of light, the mass of hydrogen, the length of Earth's rotation, etc.), unlike the current International System of Units.

Crone	c	Time	One hundred thousandth (0.00001) of the average amount of time it takes the Earth to complete complete rotation on its axis.
Unit of Distance (unnamed as of now)	ud	Distance	The distance light will travel in a vaccum in one hundred millonth (0.00000001) of a crone.
Munch	M	Mass	The amount of matter in 800 Septillion (8.0 x 10²⁶) atoms of hydrogen.
Degrees Skynyrd	S°	Temperature	Zero degrees is equal to the point at which water freezes. Ninety degrees is equal to the point at which water boils. One degree is equal to 1/90 of the temperature between water's freezing and boiling points.
Anglo	a	Angle	One anglo is equal to the curve of 1/100 of the circumference of a circle.
Barry	B	Force/Weight	One barry is equal to the force with which one munch will apply going one ud per crone. (M·ud/c)

[edit] Etymology of Unit Names

The units of the munch and degrees Skynyrd are named after two professor's named Munchausen and Skynyrd, respectively.

The crone is named after the Greek god Cronos, god of time.

The anglo has no specific etymology other than sounding like "angle."
