Hey, yo, watch it go, it's time for the...

[edit] Apostrophes

Code Description Code Result Result Description
One Apostrophe 'One' 'One' Nothing much, really. XD
Two Apostrophes ''Two'' Two Font is italicized
Three Apostrophes '''Three''' Three Font is bold'
Four Apostrophes ''''Four'''' 'Four' Font is bold with ' around it.
Five Apostrophes '''''Five''''' Five Font is bold and italicized.

In conclusion, apostrophes help for italicizing and bolding.

[edit] <>'s

<>'s... well... they're much more complicated. There's so much I can't even describe.

<nowiki> and </nowiki>

help the user get what they want in this way. So, imagine if, there was a movie called '''Triple-Apostrophe'''

{{'}} <-- This template helps you use non-wiki apostrophes in a much quicker way.

<noinclude> and </noinclude>

These two are there for templates/userboxes and on VERY RARE OCCASIONS userpages. For example...

I had a note on my Navigation (example) that I wanted to read for the next time I looked at it. So I used's the noinclude's and voila. So that wouldn't get in my way for whenever I transcluded it onto my other subpages (example) so I wouldn't see that little note posted on the navigation template when I looked at it. See where I'm getting at?

<font ____="______"> and </font>

These are actually pretty complicated things. Examples include <font face="____">, <font color="____">, and even some fancy things such as a crosshair cursor when the arrow goes over it. <font face="____">, well, that's the font style, like "Times New Roman", or the few fonts above on the "Guide To Basic WikiMarkup" above. Color, that's self explanatory. STEELBLUE PURPLE
