[edit] Opposite or Absence?

I think, technically, darkness is the absence of light. Theory_of_Colours page states "From the Newtonian standpoint, darkness is an absence of light." 63.224.251.40 07:02, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Page has problems. Unsure of how to correct. Please advise. Buzinkai 06:50, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Or is light the absence of darkness? Yeah, bet you've never heard that one, eh? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.252.139.79 (talk) 07:33, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Nice, 24.252.139.79. I've always thought of things that way. But most humans seem to think otherwise. More evidence of their illogic.
