[edit] Etymology
The verb δαρδάπτω (dardapto) means "to devour", see: http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/cgi-bin/ptext?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.04.0057%3Aentry%3D%2323466. So how can that make Dardanus meaning "burned up"? Is there a source on that etymology? Helladios 06:42, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
