Darren Childs

Darren Childs is the Managing Director of the BBC Worldwide’s commercial networks business with a global remit. He was born in Yorkshire in 1966.

At BBC Worldwide he overseas networks, broadcasting in over 100 countries to over 150 million homes, around the globe.

Notable channels include BBC America, BBC Prime, BBC Knowledge, and BBC Entertainment. The BBC also owns 50% of UKTV, and have full editorial control of the 11 UKTV branded Pay TV channels.
