Darnytsia Railway Station (Ukrainian: Дарницький вокзал, Darnyts’kyi vokzal) will be a future railroad station in the administrative Darnytskyi Raion of Ukrainian capital of Kiev. It will be a major addition to the railroad network in Kiev, helping ease the traffic tension in the city's current main railroad station, especially in the eastward direction.
Experts measure that the total passenger traffic for long-distance Ukraine and international routes at 10,000 passengers per day, and 50,000 passengers per day for local traffic. Experts measure the total cost of the construction of the railway complex at 2.79 billion hryvnias, and the construction of the underground transport and passenger tunnels at 1.4 billion hryvnias. On February 16, 2007, the local commuter train terminal of the Darnytsia Railway Station was opened to the public.
Connection to other city transport will be present, including the Kiev Metro, which will be done by the Syretsko-Pecherska Line.
