Darnell Edwards

Darnell Edwards (born October 8, 1978 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a free safety playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.

Edwards was drafted out of college by Saskatchewan (29th overall) in 2002. Throughout his career, he has shared the starting job with Jason Mallett and Scott Gordon, both Canadians. Mallett was released after 2003 and Gordon was traded before the start of the 2006 CFL season. He attended college at the University of Manitoba
