Darnell Maurice Dockett (born May 27, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American football defensive tackle who currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL. Arizona picked him in the 3rd round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

He attended Paint Branch High School in Burtonsville, Maryland. At Paint Branch he was regarded as one of the top defensive ends in the nation. He set the school record of 90 sacks in his high school career. In his senior season he was USA Today prep all-America selection with 171 tackles (109 solos), 2 caused fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and 3 blocked punts.

While playing at Florida State University, Dockett recorded 9 sacks, and 192 tackles (93 solo tackles, 89 assisted tackles), and set a school record for 48 tackles for losses.
