Dark Winter is a 2004 novel written by Andy McNab featuring the fictional character Nick Stone.

Nick and a female operator has to find Bin Laden's associated terrorist cells and stop them from committing a large-scale biological warfare attack on central London against an unsuspecting civilian population. A sub plot to the novel was Nick's constant problems with Kelly, the girl he took responsibility for after her family was murdered.
