[edit] World Energy

Daniel,

Thank you for editing the World Energy article. I reverted your edit and I know how anoying that can be so I wanted to drop a short note and tell you that your attempt to make the article better is appreciated. I do want to encourage you to make more edits on this page. I have already spend a lot of time on this article and plan to spend more hours. A lot of the effort has been spend on converting everything to one set of units. Electricity is often in KWh, oil gets measured in barrels, gas in cu feet and coal in tons of oil equivalent. The list continues. For this article I wanted to keep everything in SI or SI derived units. I hope you understand and I would love to have your support to make this a Featured Article. Frank,

I don't know if you will be able to read this. I'm new to Wikipedia and I no clue how to send messages from one person to another. Anyway, the reason I included the TWh unit was because you refer to a reference which use btu, which is a unit for energy (as TWh), while TW is a unit of power. Hence, for clarity I wanted to include consumption in TWh, which I believe is an SI unit. Otherwise I think its a very good article with many good references which I have used actively in the indroduction of my Ph.D. thesis. Daniel. Danielnw 14:26, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
