Dansinspiration: A phrase that denotes an attitude, a quality of life. In all humans there is good and evil. Our prisons are full of the bad people who want to take from society and not contribute to the good. On the other end of the spectrum are the people who want to help. They are what makes our society function and allows the world to grow. From a scale from 0 to 10 our prisons are made up of the 0-1 range on the 8-10 scale we have the volunteers, missionaries, philanthropists, those persons who try to do what is right for the good of the community and society. The average person falls between 5-7 on the scale. A young art student coined the pharse "Art is my inspiration...because without Art we would just be stuck with reality."

At first thought the phrase sounds glib and off the cuff. But given some thought it is profound! Think about a world without Art. Not just pictures but dance, sculptures, landscapes, movies, architecture, etc. A building constructed with cold block concrete, would be functional but how drab, no pictures on the walls, everything just monolithic. No creative spirit, no innovation. Our lives would be dull with no inspiration.

Dansinspiration is a feeling, a beautiful existence. The majority of people don't realize that Art inspires all of us even if we are not aware of it. The art student that coined the phrase "My inspiration is Art...because without Art we would just be stuck with reality" identified a deep profound thought that without Art we all would just be stuck with reality!

Daniel Robert Lynch was the author and on the scale of quality of life Daniel was one of those few that would rate a 10. On the way to art class, Daniel was attacked and shot to death. But even in death he is providing scholarships for future students to obtain their dream and love in the Arts. The internet has Daniel's story, you can find it at www.dansinspiration.com--Dansinspiration 04:29, 8 July 2007 (UTC).
