Talk:Daniel Bedingfield
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm certain that it was a car crash that Daniel was involved in, not a wake boarding accident. Anyone else agree with me? (Istabo (talk) 23:57, 12 February 2008 (UTC))
"If You're Not The One" is widely considered as one of the best UK singles so far this decade" - Says who? Do you have a reference for this or is it just your opinion? If it's just your opinion, you must remove it. pomegranate 23:49, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
- Well here's a quote from Simon Cowell:
"Which young solo singer around at the moment do you predict will go on to be as famous as Madonna or Michael Jackson?
Probably Daniel Bedingfield. He's a very, very good songwriter. He's naturally gifted and a very smart and talented guy. He's a rarity. He can just keep producing these brilliant songs. This year, he wrote one of the best pop songs I've ever heard - "If You're Not The One". I think he could be the next Elton John." Secfan 00:28, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)
Sorry, but that's not "widely considered" at all, is it? Perhaps you could said something like "Pop svengali Simon Cowell regards 'if you're not the one' as one of the best...." Otherwise it's an unjustifiable generalisation.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Pomegranate (talk • contribs)
There's no denying this is one of the most taleneted singer-song writers in the business. Rregardless to personal opinion on him, he is a extremly talented musician.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.107.177.52 (talk • contribs)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Gotta Get Thru This 2.jpg
Image:Gotta Get Thru This 2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:05, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Popworld
The sentence about Popworld in the Trivia section obviously belongs in the Music career section. I have not moved it there because the Music career section is written chronologically, and I have no idea where the appearance in Popworld fits in. Coyets 10:51, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Has-been
Bedingfield's musical career is considered by many in the music business to be over. Doesn't say much for his so-called talent. Whether the reader of this comment agrees with this statement or not, it's pretty hard not to disagree with the fact that the wikipedia page here on him is oddly biased - basically it's a love letter to him.
Impartiality needed.
