The edits made to the infobox earlier were incorrect; he was an assistant at UAB and starting out at Gonzaga. matt91486 22:08, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Good Article failure

Article needs references, see Wikipedia:Verifiability, WP:CITE. I think there can be some stylistic improvements, for example in the following: "Dan Monson quickly became one of the hottest properties in college basketball in the spring of 1999. After Gonzaga's amazing run to the Elite Eight, he was offered the head coaching position at the University of Minnesota, which he accepted. ", 'hottest properties' and 'amazing run' probably aren't neutral or appropriate. - Mattingly23 23:57, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

I've made some edits to make more impartial and found a good source for the rationale behind Monson's hire. Anyone else who has been working on the article should feel free to do the same this week, and then we can try renominating it. matt91486 03:53, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
