[edit] Baseball program

Can anyone confirm that ISU canceled their baseball program to free up the money to give McCarney a contract extension? I recall this being in the sports media back around 2003 or so. Larry Eustachy might have been a beneficiary as well. At any rate, I think that's a noteworthy detail, but I can't source it. CHeers, PhilipR 01:38, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
