Danny O'Dea

Danny O'Dea (born 22 December 1910, died April 2003) [1] was a British based actor of Irish descent.
He made 31 appearances as Eli Duckett in Last of the Summer Wine between 1986 and 2002, making his final appearance at the age of 90. Another of his notable roles includes that of Paddy, an elderly man who appeared in Rita, Sue and Bob Too in 1986. [2]
O'Dea died in Dewsbury, Yorkshire, in April 2003. He was 92 years old, and had been working on a part-time basis until one year before his death.
