Daniel "Danny" John Coid (born 3 October 1981 in Liverpool, Merseyside) is an English professional footballer currently playing for Blackpool. He scored in the final of the 2004 Football League Trophy, in which Blackpool beat Southend 2-0, their second time winning the competition in three seasons. As of 2007 he is the longest-serving current Blackpool player.

On 27 February 2007, Coid returned to the Blackpool team after being out injured since 14 October 2006. On May 27, 2007, Coid was an unused substitute in Blackpool's League One play-off final victory over Yeovil Town at Wembley.[1]

Quashing rumours that he would leave the club in the summer, Coid signed a new one-year contract on June 15, 2007.[2] On 7 May 2008 Blackpool activated an option to extend his contract with the club by one year.[3]
