Danilo Parra was born in Ecuador on May 14; with Colombian, Italian and Spanish roots he became a famous Ecuadorian singer.

Supported and influenced by his family, he became a singer in 2002.
Demonstrating a great musical talent, Danilo Parra obtained a good airplay deal in his country and by the following year won awards such as "Revelacion del Año 2002 (Best New Artist)". He became a regular in Ecuador's news.
At the end of 2003 the Magazine “La Onda” recognized him as the "Best Singer of 2003". Later the famous magazine “Hogar” dedicated a page to his record production. Parra participated in different events since then, most importantly at the musical show of the 2004 Miss Ecuador.
His song "Preciosa" was awarded as the "Cancion del 2004" in some national TV programs. Danilo Parra once again was recognized as the "Artist of the year" in 2004.
Danilo Parra will take his music to several Latin countries, as well as Central and North America, and he will consider the Caribbean and Europe as his market in 2006.[1]
