Daniel Wretström
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daniel Wretström, (October 15, 1983-December 9, 2000), was a Swedish white power skinhead killed in Salem, Sweden.
He played in the white power band Vit legion (White Legion). A gang of 15 people attacked and assaulted him later that evening, leading to his death. Seven of the people involved in the attack were convicted, of which one was convicted of murder, and sentenced to psychiatric care. Wretström's death has inspired a yearly parade called the Salem March, by Swedish neo-Nazis and other far right activists, who see Wretström as a martyr of Swedish nationalism.[1] [2] [3] Neo-Nazi group Blood and Honour has called him "the Horst Wessel of our generation".[4]

This morning Europe weeps for a fallen hero. Mark this day – for he shall be avenged. Though his flash has fallen – his spirit lives on."
