Daniel Kipchirchir Komen (born 27 November 1984) is a Kenyan middle distance runner who specializes in the 1500 metres.

On June 10, 2007, he ran the fastest mile ever run in the United States, breaking a record that Eamonn Coghlan had held since 1983 with a 3:48.28 in Eugene, Oregon.[1]
