Daniel Emery Taylor (born 30 October 1979)[1] is an American actor best known for his role as Darryl Hallenbeck in the 1989 cult sci-fi / comedy The Return of Swamp Thing. He also gained modest regional fame for appearing in several Southern-based television series such as In the Heat of the Night and I'll Fly Away. Daniel also appeared in the Dreamworks hit Road Trip starring Tom Green.
Daniel now travels the country and appears at several comic book and horror conventions. He is embarking on a writing career, with his first work to be completed by the fall. Daniel resides outside of Birmingham, Alabama with his wife, Ami and his four stepchildren.
