Daniel John Braid (born 12 February 1981 in Tauranga, New Zealand) is a rugby union footballer who plays for Auckland in the Air New Zealand Cup and for the Blues in the Super 14. He plays for Auckland University in the Auckland premier competition. He played three Tests for the All Blacks in 2002 and 2003, and scored one try. His position is flanker. He has a younger brother called Luke Braid.
