Daniel Berg Hestad (born July 30, 1975) is a Norwegian footballer. He debuted for Molde in 1993, and has since played over 250 matches for this team – mostly as a central midfielder. In 2003 he moved to Dutch team SC Heerenveen, where he played two seasons, returning to Molde in the summer of 2005.
Hestad has 8 caps for the Norwegian national team, as well as a multitude of junior and youth internationals. Hestad comes from a long line of Molde players. His father Stein Olav Hestad holds the club record for most first-team appearances of all-time, and his uncles Harry Hestad and Odd Berg also played many years at the club.
