Danforth Village

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Danforth Village is a rather recently coined name for the Toronto Canada neighbourhood directly north of the Upper Beaches area whose boundaries are Victoria Park Avenue in the east and Westlake Avenue at its western boundary. The city's official name for this area is East End Danforth, though that is rarely used. Danforth Village Business Improvement Area was created in mid-2006.

This vibrant district is within walking distance to Victoria Park, Main Street stations, bus routes along the Danforth and the Danforth GO Station. This area is very multicultural as is seen with the different varieties of specialty shops, restaurants and bakeries.
