Dana Sue Gray is a serial killer who murdered three elderly woman by strangulation, bludgeoning and stabbing in 1994. She was apprehended and identified by a fourth victim who survived. Her given motive was funding her extravagant shopping sprees. She is now incarcerated in California Women's Prison in Chowchilla.
Her case is considered unusual for a female killer both because only one of her victims was known to her and because of the overtly violent nature of the crimes.
