Daniel Hans Erwin Zimmermann (born October 30, 1966, in Nürnberg, Germany) is a heavy metal drummer currently playing in Gamma Ray and Freedom Call, the band he co-founded in 1998 with Chris Bay. Dan joined Gamma Ray in 1997 and has previously played in Lanzer.
