Dan Shaffer is a news anchor at WFTS-TV. He joined their news team as a meteorologist in 1996. His work as a reporter has earned him many awards.^{[citation needed]} Dan currently anchors the weekday 5 a.m., 6 a.m., and noon newscasts. Before joining WFTS, he worked in Orlando at a CBS station, WKMG.
