Not to be confused with the comic strip Dan Dunn.

Dan Dunn studied painting at Sam Houston State University.

Worked 9 seasons at Six Flags Astroworld theme park in Houston, Texas beginning in 1977, and served as the artist trainer there in his last few years. He is a caricaturist and founder member to the National Caricaturist Network (NCN), serving as President in 1997.[1] He has won several NCN awards, including Bronze and Silver "Noseys" (1993, 1994) and Most Humorous Cartoons (1993).[1]

He is currently spending most of his time working on his Paint Jam stage show.
