Dan Dunleavy

Dan Dunleavy is a Canadian sportscaster for CJCL and Rogers Sportsnet.
Dunleavy is the play by play voice for the World Junior Hockey Championships on the Fan Radio Network. He also calls Canadian Hockey League, American Hockey League, and National Lacrosse League games on Rogers Sportsnet. Since 1999, Dunleavy has been the radio play by play voice for the Toronto Rock. Dan is also the TV play by play voice of the Toronto Lynx. Dunleavy has been Fan590's summer olympic reporter since the 2000 Olympics. Dan also sevres as a part time host for Sportsnet's FIS World Cup Skiing coverage. In 2008, Dunleavy was the play by play announcer for Rogers TV's coverage of the 2008 TSC Stores Tankard. [1]
Dunleavy was born in Toronto and grew up in Georgetown, Ontario. His radio career started in Welland, Ontario in 1985, followed by a move to Orangeville in 1987. He joined the Fan 590 in 1993.
