Dan & Jones - Mind the Hedge

Dan & Jones - Mind the Hedge is a comedy partnership consisting of Daniel Chadderton and Julian Jones. They first started recording audio when they would go home at lunch times and overdub Doctor Who episodes onto incredibly poor quality tapes on an old fashioned mono tape player. The results didn't sound great but there were the beginnings of the ad-libbed humour which they would go on to develop over the course of the tapes they recorded together.

Subject matter on these tapes was varied to say the least. Some of it too near the knuckle at times but at its heart just absolute nonsense, showing up the ridiculousness of people, beliefs and life in general. It consists mainly of improvised sketches ranging from the mundane to the ridiculous and from the surreal to the monstrous.

Jones worked on a Doctor Who spin-off entitled Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans in 1994 and he in particular is closely associated with Charles Wynford Lodge... the actor (http://www.myspace.com/charleswynfordlodge) for whom he scripted the BAXTER INVESTIGATES... comeback special in 2002.
