Is "danseurs" english? If not I do not believe it belongs on the english wikipedia. Hyacinth 22:25, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Yes, just as much as the more familiar ballerina, which is also of foreign origin. Most ballet terminology is imported, but "danseur" is the only word with this meaning available in English. Sumahoy 16:10, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

error spotted -

Mireille Hassenboehler is female, therefore should be featured on the Ballerina page, and not where she is now on the same page as the Danseurs

  • Fixed -- you could have fixed it yourself, by just changing Category:Danseurs to Category:Ballerinas, as I did. NawlinWiki 20:27, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
