[edit] Usage
This template is intended for articles that have one or more versions far back in the history that include information which has since been lost.
Parameters are: "diff": currently passed as an arbitrary URL, which could be either the "diff" from a particular deletion, or a previous version of the article from the history, which is recommended by the editor as a good place to start recovering information. This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of all past versions, but rather should point editors at the best previous version or the worst reduction in content as an example.
"date": inherited from the Template:disputed, use of this is currently not specified. It might be useful to represent the time at which the notice is posted or the date of a previous good revision. If you find it useful, please consider updating this documentation.
