Damurhuda is located at . It has 37279 units of house hold and total area 308.11 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Damurhuda has a population of 213291. Males constitute are 51.69% of the population, and females 48.31%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 107245. Damurhuda has an average literacy rate of 25.6% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
