Damqatum is the newsletter of the Centro de Estudios de Historia del Antiguo Oriente (CEHAO) (Institute of Studies for the History of the Ancient East), History Department, School of Philosophy and Arts, Pontifical Argentine Catholic University (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Each issue publishes one top article (normally an interview to an ancient Near East scholar) as well as news of the several activities of the CEHAO. It is published online twice a year in a Spanish and in an English version. Damqatum encourages the submission of divulgation papers, interviews, reports, and short notes related to the History and Archaeology of the Ancient Near East. The newsletter is indexed in the ABZU catalog.
