Damian Hinds

Damian Hinds is a British politician, and a member of the Conservative Party.
Originally from Cheshire, he achieved a first class honours degree at Oxford University, and was president of the Oxford Union Society whilst there.
He was chairman of the Bow Group in 2001-02.
He stood in the Stretford and Urmston constituency during the United Kingdom general election, 2005, coming second to incumbent MP Beverley Hughes, gaining 30.4% of the vote (an increase for the party of 3.3%).
He has been selected to contest the East Hampshire constituency when the current Member of Parliament, Michael Mates, steps down at the next General Election.
