Do not move Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee to Publicity Department. That is not the name of the organization and not what 宣傳 means. Benjwong (talk) 20:50, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Publicity Department is the official name of the organization and is being used by Chinese media. The Chinese term 宣傳 is neutral and does not necessarily mean propaganda. Please look at Chinese connotations of the term. --Daltac (talk) 21:06, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Propaganda is not necessarily bad in this context. If anything it is just a name. There are plenty of 3rd party sources calling it propaganda department of the CPC CC. Benjwong (talk) 21:18, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
