Dale Keiger has been a journalist, essayist, and advocatus diaboli for more than 30 years. He has published more than 1,500 stories in publications that include The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The San Francisco Examiner, Connoisseur, Travel & Leisure, and Major League Baseball's all-star game program. He is currently a senior writer at Johns Hopkins Magazine and teaches graduate writing workshops for Johns Hopkins University. He has won a Washington Monthly national journalism prize and an H. L. Mencken Award for investigative reporting.
