Dalia Harir (March 28, 1989-December 14, 2004) was a 15-year-old Arab-American teenager who was found shot to death in Cheverly, Maryland. Police arrested 22-year-old Irving Winslow of Washington, D. C. in connection with her homicide. Harir was a student at Bryant Alternative School of Alexandria, Virginia, and had been missing from her home in Fairfax, Virginia for more than a week when her body was found on December 14. Police said she had probably been dead for at least a day when road crews working near a Route 50 exit ramp found her body. She was found wearing a black spandex top, jeans, black sneakers, hoop earrings and a Mickey Mouse watch, police said at the time.[1] She was Prince George's County's 142nd homicide victim in 2004, in a year that was characterized as being especially bloody and violent.[2] Winslow was arrested at his home in the District on Thursday, March 31, 2005.[3]
