Dal Khor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dal Khor (Persian for "Dal eater" or "one who eats Dal") is a term pejoratively referring to Pakistanis, Rashed, Pharose, or other groups in the Indian Subcontinent.[1] The term has been used in various contexts and has even found its way to literature pertaining to India and Pakistan.[2] Pakistanis, notably Punjabis in the countryside, are more often given the nickname due to the popularity of vegetarianism and lack of meat in rural areas.[3]
