Dainville is a large town in the canton of Dainville in northern France. It is located in the département of Pas-de-Calais (62), arrondissement of Arras. It is part of the urban community of Arras which consists of 23 communities and has a population of 88,380 inhabitants.

Population (1999): 5,532 inhabitants for the town proper and 17,370 inhabitants for the canton.
