Daily News Live (SportsNet New York)

Daily News Live is a live sports talk show which airs weeknights from 5:00PM to 5:30PM EST on SportsNet New York. The show's host is former New York Mets beat reporter Chris Cotter, with many New York area newspaper writers and many other guests. On days where the Mets or Yankees have games, the beat interviewers for each team are brought on to give the most recent news about the team. On almost every game day there is an interview with a player from either the Mets, Yankees, or the visiting team. There are also many other recurring features on the show such as Citi Talk, where New Yorkers are asked, on the street outside the SNY studio, their opinions on issues of the day or ask questions to the DNL panel, as well as "The Daily Three" which kicks off the show, going into the top three most important topics of the day, and Chris Cotter wraps the show up with Rush Hour, where he delves into certain sports or non-sports topics of the day before sending things off to The WheelHouse at 5:30pm.
