[edit] Accuracy

Dahiya were identified both with Ta-Hia and Dahae, which contradiction. I deleted wrong statement "Ptolemy has mentined them as Dahae". Ptolemy did not mention Dahae. It is also bad style to write some statements as truths, while they are only opinions of historians. Ta-Hia is agreed to mean Bactria. Dahae lived to the north of Bactria. [edit] Merger

The proposal to merge Dahia with Dahiya has been on since February and has elicited no comments. As the pages describe a Rajput and a Jat clan respectively, I take it that they are different and cannot be merged, hence I am removing the proposal notices. [edit] Usage of Internal khap panchayat By Dahiya gotra

The writer has missed one of the important aspect in the dahiya gotra internal dispute settlement system prevailing in the gotra. This specifically had been in vogue in The SONIPAT district 40 villages of dahiya gotra. This is called Khap 'Pardhani"(meaning chiefmanship).The one of the largest village of Dahiya gotra in sonipat districts, SISANA has been traditinally holding this postion in the khap. the Pardhan(or the Chief) had been appointed by the consensus of the the village elders for long.
