Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd or DSME (Korean: 대우조선해양) is one of the largest shipbuilders in the world and one of the "Big Three" shipbuilders of South Korea. Five conglomerates are bidding to buy it as of April 2008.^[1]
