[edit] RE {{AIV}}
Hello there, I recently noticed you have been using the {{AIV}} template. I largely created the template, so I just wated to offer some advice. Try not to overuse the template, like here. Generally, one use is enough. Also, you probably shouldn't mention the fact you "clerk" on AIV. Not many admins are quite fond of that. I'm not an admin personally. And, you probably shouldn't metion the fact that vandalising your pages will get people warned/blocked. While it may be true, you're really telling them not to stuff beans up their nose, if you know what I mean. Feel free to ask me a question about this. Cheers. - Thanks for the message. I've re-worded my userpage, and I'll keep in mind what you said about the AIV template. I very much appreciate your input. Have a great day :) Dadude3320 21:45, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
No problem. You might want to remove the last line from your welcome message to this talk page. Same thing, stuffing beans. And, I'm happy to know that you're a reformed vandal. Goes to show that vandals can be reformed, unlike what some people currently think. I think otherwise, and I thank you for helping to prove my point. Feel free to send me a message at any time, and I will be more than happy to help you out. Cheers, Steve Crossin (talk) (anon talk) 21:56, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

why did you vandalise? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 04aeverington (talk • contribs) 07:43, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- I vandalised as part of a little game I and some others were playing on a forum. However, after looking at my contribs after I had finished vandalising I had found that it was a VERY childish and immature thing for me to do. So I decided to devote my time on wikipedia, to HELPING it by removing the vandalisim, rather then creating vandalisim and attempting to destroy someone elses hard work. I just looked over the above page, you have issued the User a Level 1, the post was blatantly vandalism. Do you think something a little more would have been appropriate? Just a thought! (Keep up the good work btw). I haven't managed to graqb many vandalised pages as people get there before me! Lukeyboyuk (talk) 23:28, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- To be honest with you, I was rushing through 4 or 5 vandal edits I had to look through, because I had to get off the computer to deal with something. You are correct though, a higher warning level would have been appropriate. I would normally issue a more stern level 2,or 3 warning to the user. Thanks for your input and concern. :) And good luck with the vandalism patrol! --Dadude3320 00:48, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
