David James Rowland was born on March 1, 1988 in Livermore, CA.

He lived in Livermore, CA for several months then moved with his family thirty miles north to the small suburban neighborhood of Alamo, CA. There he lived and attended the local Alamo Elementary School and then Stone Valley Middle School. He graduated from De La Salle High School in Concord, CA in May of 2006 and was accepted into the Horn Performance program at University of California at Los Angeles where he is currently taking classes in both the Herb Alpert School of Music and the School of Letters and Sciences. He plans on majoring in Horn Performance and Biophysics with an expected graduation after five years in spring of 2011.
