Da Show is a "hip-hop, rap and urban interests" television program Appearing at Midnight on WBKI, the Louisville affiliate station and on Saturday nights at 8pm on WYCS LouNET]. Both stations are operated by the Cascade Broadcasting group of Louisville, Kentucky.
The official creator of Da Show is Joseph Clarke a native of New York who developed Da Show in Louisville Kentucky. Clarke shares the initial concept and copyright for Da show with Calvin Young a native of Louisville.
Not much is known of the actual operations or management of Da show.
The show is currently in its first season and has ben passed between two different production teams. The current credits list Justin La Plante (colitisscope studios) as the primary post production editor while the previous credits of the first four episodes listed Michael Birchak (AKA. Deuce leader.
Da Show is the only locally produced program on either the Louisville CW affiliate or WYCS (LouNET) to run entirely without sponsorship but in its first two weeks of airing grossed the highest ratings of any locally produced program on WYCS. Unfortunately this trend did not last due to under-funded post production, lack of promotion and a lack of funding[citation needed]. Overnight Neilson ratings for Da Show during the week of May 23rd ranked the program at only .2 of the local Neilson share for it's time slot on the CW.
