Description

Kurdish Peshmerga contract guards cleaning their weapons, a variation of the AK-47 with folding buttstock. These Peshmergas are employed as bodyguards and drivers for US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) personnel at the USACE compound in Dohuk, northern Iraq during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
