D.A.D.O.

D.A.D.O. is a fictional organization in The Pendragon Adventure series by D. J. MacHale. It is an abbreviation for Dimond Alpha Digital Organization. It creates different technologies, including forge, a shapeshifting technology, and large cyborgs known as DADOs, which inhabit Quillan and are annoyances to Bobby in book seven, The Quillan Games. D.A.D.O.'s technology has affected Second Earth, leading Pendragon to believe that First Earth might have been affected as well. Many rumors have spread that it is possible that D.A.D.O. was responsible for creating Lifelight, the technology that brings Veelox to its doom.

In The Pilgrims of Rayne, DADO cyborgs later were manipulated by Saint Dane to invade Ibara, and nearly succeeded if it had not been for Bobby.

The Dimond in DADO stands for the last name of Mark Dimond. Seeing as Mark left Second Earth with Saint Dane and the Forge technology, it is likely that he brought it to First Earth and has thus changed both Second and Third Earth.
