How exactly is Gregoria de Jesus notable enough for an encyclopedia? Are you by any chance related to her? Please add your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gregoria de Jesus. -- Chris 73 | Talk 08:51, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

If she is notable, the article will survive the article for deletion process. If you can find some references (books, newspaper articles, etc), that would be very helpful to establish notability. Also check Wikipedia:Notability (people). Update: It looks like the article will pass Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gregoria de Jesus and stay on Wikipedia. Shifting through lots of new pages (see Wikipedia:New pages patrol), I sometimes don't recognize the notability of a topic, but I am happy to be corrected as it is the case for Gregoria de Jesus.
